Laurie Richardson
Vice President of Self Storage and Cruise Industry Analytics
Laurie Richardson is responsible for a portfolio of Veritec Solutions self-storage clients that includes some of the Company’s largest, to the smallest and fastest growing operators. She provides her clients with self-storage revenue management expertise that is both strategic and tactical, to all levels of the client’s organization, from senior management to the information technologist.
Education is a core value at Veritec Solutions and Laurie draws on many years’ experiences as a math educator, both at the college and high school levels, to create key learning resources used by client managers throughout Veritec Solutions.
Laurie also brings to Veritec Solutions extensive business experience managing, designing, and implementing decision support systems across a wide range of industries, including cruise line, travel and leisure, container shipping, electric utility, and telecommunications industries. She has managed project teams responsible for improving business processes as well as the mathematical modeling and formulation, design, development, and implementation of data warehousing systems, reporting systems, routing optimization, forecasting, and revenue management systems.
Laurie was recognized with a corporate technical achievement award for the mathematical formulation, development, and implementation of a scheduling decision support tool for power plants used in the electric power industry.
Laurie received her MS degree in Operations Research from Stanford University and her BS degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
